What's the best week to book a maternity session?
Most people book between weeks 28-34, when the bump is clearly visible but you’re still comfortable moving around for an hour. That said, there’s no strict rule, I’ve photographed earlier and later too.
Can my partner or other children join the session?
Yes, your partner is included, and if you’d like your other children in some of the photos too, just mention it when booking so we can plan the time accordingly.
What should I wear?
We’ll talk through this beforehand. Flowy dresses tend to photograph beautifully, but more than the outfit itself, I’ll guide you into angles and poses that feel good and look natural for your body right now.
I don't feel very photogenic right now, is that normal?
Completely normal, and probably the most common feeling I hear before these sessions. My job is to guide you into what actually looks good on camera at this stage!
